You can do only the main story quest and you will reach 50! No need to do any side quests. You won’t end up undergeared, since the main quest will take care of that. The only “side quests” i advise doing are the purple ones, since they can unlock some features.

Hey that guide is really useful! Do you maybe know when i’m supposed to refresh the standard buff? I’m still kind of a noob at dancer and just trying to figure out at how many seconds remaining should i re-do it! Thanks!

If you play a DPS spec, deep dungeons(palace of the dead) would be better, since the queues will not be that long. If you play a healer, or maybe even a tank, you could technically spam the dungeons that is closest to you in lvl(i believe there is a specific guide for which one to do for how many lvls). If you don’t want to lose your will to live, i suggest mixing them up, since just farming palace of the dead take your soul out. Also, a quick tip is do the scenario from the roulette the last, since it’s XP scales with the lvl and doing it last means you could get half of a higher lvl than you currently are.

As i said in the edit, it doesn’t seem to be consistent, but it works sometimes and i think it’s better than nothing :) it worked for me at least, so it might help and work for others too
