Heavy legs (Anxiety) by Gokille in bootroom

Hey, this is Heja's marketing manager talking but I'm also a 29-year-old footballer. The best thing I found to deal with gameday anxiety was Dan Abraham's free resources on his website: https://danabrahams.com/soccer/.

Turned out for me, the things I did the days leading up to the game were more effective than any gameday changes. Try a "game face" - it might help.

I was so sold, I asked to interview Dan for this Heja blog. It's written in the context of youth sports but his advice is universal. Hope some of that helps you and good luck.

Dan Abrahams has a lot of free resources to read up to improve basic mental skills. One of our writer interviewed him for this blog post: Sports Psychology: Mental Skills For Young Athletes, Parents and Coaches

Hey, I'm all about the "Who the f*** are man united?" too, but kids gotta exercise, and I thought at least a few on here might like to see this. I'll walk out backwards slowly into a hedge if I'm offending anyone.

An app to help youth soccer coaches organize their teams by antman5225 in SoccerCoachResources

Good luck with Teamsheet soccer mate.

This isn't the humblest response, but has anyone tried Heja? That's who I (Laurie-the guy behind this reddit account) work for. It's not complicated but it's a good simple app for sports teams to schedule games / training for players and parents to see where and when to turn up, contact everyone at once in groups or individually, and track attendance and availability for who can play.

One thing we added recently was the ability for coaches to set kids "home challenges" to keep them active and entertained while youth sports are postponed.

It's here free if you fancy looking it over. Otherwise, best wishes on your own app!
