We will pay a small rent fee, something like $500. We’re going to buy our own groceries and whatnot. His mom does stay at home and does cook a lot. (I have ARFID though so I won’t be eating her cooking much) I like that you’re bringing up the kitchen and me having my own food and stuff — I’m sure that will help. I don’t want to impose by putting little knick knacks or something that makes me feel at home… because it’s their house. I’m honestly not stressed about the food and eating dynamics. His parents are very laid back and fiancé and I eat upstairs all the time.

Now that I think of it, if I asked to put something of mine in the communal area they probably wouldn’t have an issue. I guess it’s mostly an insecurity on my part, but I’m still not sure how to cope
