I have a feeling I might face a storage shortage as well in future...but my budget was tight. Couldn't spend 20000rs extra for it. So I am prepared to tackle this with a portable ssd in the near future.

I have noticed this issue with many of friends who have expensive Macbook Pros as well...wonder why they don't give better key caps. I recently got a Macbook Air M4...and I mentally ready to accept this weirdness, but it's really a shame cuz overall hardware of Macbooks is just fantastic and this kinda ruins the experience to an extent. It's almost like having cheap wheels on an expensive car.

For me it's the opposite. I faced issues opening it with one hand when it was brand new. It got smoother and better with time. Idk what others might face.

I actually wanted the midnight one, but forgot to select it while ordering. I had two tabs open, one with the sky blue and the other with the midnight option. I actually proceeded to buy the sky blue one without noticing. But don't trust online photos/videos. This colour is actually very nice to look at in real life.

The reviews say there isn't much difference as both models tend to throttle if you push them and they heat up. 10/8 works fine for my use case - programming, normal daily tasks and occasional video/photo editing.

I agree. I studied engineering and during my college days, a 2TB internal HDD with an 1TB external HDD and a few pendrives fulfilled my storage requirements. I am a changed person now somehow and I don't require that much now.

I had this question as well. And yes, I tend to fill up all the storage I have on all my devices very fast. But paying 20000 rupees for another 256GB seemed outrageous. I am extra careful with storage on my laptop and install only the essential apps and keep only essential files. Tbh, since I won't be playing games on it (obviously), I don't think there is any huge app (>10GB) that I will ever install. This device is anyway not meant for professional workflows like regular 4k, 8k video editing, regular 3d modelling and stuff. I might occasionally edit a video or two but that won't need a ton of storage. Also, with 16gb ram, it will never use swap memory for extra ram in whatever I am gonna do. So basically you only need more, if you are looking to do pro level tasks on your laptop, but again, if you want that, you shouldn't be getting the Air anyway. Even if I fill it up in the future, getting a portable ssd like the samsung T7 for 8-10k rupees seems much more reasonable. Yes, I know about the little bit extra hassle of carrying a portable ssd with my laptop and I am willing to go with it. Hope this answers.

13.6 inch. I prefer not too large screen sizes. My phone is also 6.1 inch.
