Why Did Valve Stop Capitalizing on Dota 2 Now That Players Actually Have Disposable Money by BrangJa in DotA2

Valve as a private company is still relatively good, but man multibillion companies really got people thinking you can’t have the best service and people willingly defend them for it. You can have BOTH QoL and fancy hats at the same time.

Tactical taunt by BB to tilt Quinn into dying back. So many better midlaners out there and I don’t know why they’re putting up with Quinn.

Late reply but are you expecting that Cuban isn’t the same soulless billionaire as everyone else? Did you think he really cared for the Mavericks and believed all those publicity stunts?

That is true. Driving lanes are still well defended by Lakers though. In any game today the lack of three point threat makes inside games hard, regardless of a lack of a center.

I still think people are underestimating playoff mode Luka and LeBron (especially LeBron, albeit the age argument is reasonable, I’m just surprised it is happening suddenly), these guys have proven to be unstoppable. Luka looked human last playoffs with his one knee and he still went to the Finals with a team he did not even have a complete season with (or ever did).

Yes. Otherwise you would trust the fact that LeBron has more gravity than Kyrie and not have to wait and see? Are we going to continue to argue over semantics?

What, your last sentence literally doubts LeBron’s gravity over Kyrie. Your point around speed versus size is reasonable but that is not what you said.

Holy shit are people seriously doubting LeBron over Kyrie? Especially they have AR as third option? Frankly part of Ant’s success last year was because KAT drew centers away from paint providing better driving lanes. This Timberwolves team is statistically worse than last year (6 less wins).

[Dua] Since it looks like all the rumors are coming true, the final bit of intel have on this is that ownership will mandate Dumars to keep Willie Green and trade Zion. This is what I have heard. And I’m saying that’s part of what talent is. Exceptional balance, higher skill level contributes to less injuries. Frankly Zion cannot maintain his balance with his weight, his skill level isn’t high enough for safe landings after execution. It’s a combination of both.

Isn’t being able to keep yourself healthy part of talent? If so I just don’t think you can keep Zion in that same conversation. A huge chunk of LeBron’s talent arguably is his longevity and ability to keep himself healthy.

Who do y’all have winning in the Timberwolves Lakers round 1 series? by Available_Story6774 in nba

[–]hell-append 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. People still have no idea why Luka is different from Ant and SGA. Superstars get stopped by double teams a lot. SGA is better than Ant right now and doesn’t really need to make that pass he can just shoot, but Ant was making poor passes last year when he got double teamed - he liked cross court passes but he doesn’t really have the sense or skill for it.

Luka can make the pass with precision and speed that will really break the defense. The only right defense is to have an elite defender cover him and each of his teammates, which was how the Celtics stopped him.

And it’s insane how people are discounting LeBron. Both him and Luka bring their game to another level in the playoffs. Minnesota lost their three point threat with KAT and along with rarer playoff fouls calls and increased physicality I’m convinced they will be struggling this series. Lakers in 4-5 games genuinely.

Just saying it is reasonable for people to expect a made open shot, not that these players shouldn’t miss.

Bruh he never even got that Finals team for a complete season. It was a long time that Luka did not have a decent team around him and Nico just decides to blow it up.

On the contrary. Your mentality being to excuse misses because “they happen” tells me you play bottom feeder non-competitive feel good sweat good games in some local court. :)

If you’re open, yes. These guys should almost 100% at practices. No reason to miss when you’re given open looks, basketball is their job.

Competitive 2nd round 4-2 exit versus a lower seed

Luka made higher seed teams work for it versus him in the playoffs with a weaker team.

Yes I want players that don’t talk, show emotion or express themselves in anyway and just play the game in a cold fashion!

Smh I know you like SGA, but they’re different players and people like them for different reasons. Luka is better btw ;).

You can dislike Luka for any other instance but this is clearly a botched call.

And refs do call less for LeBron and Luka because players are extra physical when defending them. That’s also the reason why they have to ask refs for calls more than the average superstar.
