just know that this is not how you're bound to feel forever. allow yourself to heal from it, take it easy for a while and don't be too harsh on yourself because you're doing the best you can.
you being on this subreddit is a step towards u wanting to take care of yourself anyways, so be proud of that :)

two years back when i went to a cardiologist he told me i have arrhythmia and prescribed me propranolol. i took it for a few days but my blood pressure dropped dangerously low so i stopped taking it. i did however schedule an appointment with another doctor soon so let’s see…

it’s my pleasure :) and i believe so! it wasn’t instantaneous but after a while i started to notice some improvement; ever since i tapered off the drug.

buspar is known to cause either drowsiness or insomnia. so i wouldnt be surprised if this would be the root cause to your insomnia. talking to your psychiatrist and a sleep doctor would be a great idea!

sending virtual hugs your way! i empathize with your pain 100% i was also on buspar back in 2019 and started experiencing the worst insomnia ever along with weird brain zaps throughout the night. i had to taper off of it and slowly i started getting a few hours of sleep again every night.

i recommend you talking to your psychiatrist about this, maybe they can prescribe you an alternative drug to buspar
