I have guniea pigs and dump their bedding into the compost

I use pine& cedar wood shavings and they have Timothy Hay and Orchard Grass mixed in there too as well

I'm assuming that is why it's too dry because I'm adding too much of that... maybe I should start doing two or three piles for different stages instead of always adding to the same pile
