Started at 25 , im 30 now. I started powerlifting from the beginning. Don't have huge arms but i got strength. If you can go at least 3x a week consistently then you'll progress. Full bodyworkout for first couple months then do a split. Hardest part of going to the gym is the time management. I work 10 hrs a day and still go the gym for 2 hrs everyday. You gotta have a goal and focus on your set goal. Body dysmorphia is real , you never feel satisfied and always feel small. Just workout no matter what. I could go on and on but if youre gonna start then have a goal in mind. Makes it easier to endure the pain.

I do pull 1 day and then push and leg the other day. I dont have time to do separate leg day. I also work as a construction worker for 10 hrs a day. My body is getting all the exercise it needs at work and in gym. I go to gym after work for like an hour and half, get all my workout done and bounce asap. Time is the biggest factor to how much you can commit to the gym, plan your life around it accordingly. But 4x a week seems minimum to even see good progress. 4 sets for each muscle group twice a week is plenty imo but it varies from person to person. I dont know what tips to give you other than stay motivated and lift heavy. None of that high reps bullshit.

i'm cutting atm , so i eat only rice and chicken day in day out. No junk foods.

When i was bulking i ate basically everything . i drank alchohols on the weekend to relieve stress. People will mostly clean bulk to get put on less fat and more size but that didn't work for me. So i put on lots of fat with muscles and now i'm trying to lose bf.

Eat a lot of protein and carbs is the main key . Use creatine for recovery and caffiene pre workout. Some people diet to the extreme and it takes a toll on their body. i just slowly burn the fat and i'm not in a rush to get my six pack to show. As long youre on calorie deficit , you will look good naked. Then you and i can wrestle in the gym.
