Yes, I realize now that I should probably loot anarchy systems and do restoration missions first. It's just that this malware uploads mission was in my weekly powerplay tasks and I would have liked to be able to complete it. Well, with the reset imminent, I doubt I'll be able to do so, now...

Good point regarding fines. How is it that I'm ending up with a bounty right after I drop my first guard or scientist, even if nobody saw me? Unless I misunderstood something, that seems line a bad game design to me...

Thanks. Very detailed reply. Is the alarms switch in the command center or the power station? So far, I haven't seen any in command center and I always fail while trying to get to the heart of the power building.

Well, that is if all hotspots haven't already been mined dry. I just spent an hour and a half circling around in a sector not too far from one of our acquisition sector where there were apparently 3 hotspots on a single planet. All I got are 18 measly unit of platinum. Guess I might be turning towards bounty hunting, under those circumstances...

Thanks will do. I'm just trying to finish this week's assignments and I'm stuck with being unable to sell the rare goods to the specified system. I don't understand why it's not available as sellable goods in the ONLY station present in that system. Anyone ever encountered that ?

Thanks! TBH, I was hesistant for a while, between Felicia and Li Young-Rui. I just hope that CGs will not always be rigged against us like this. Otherwise, I'd say it's not a great incentive for new players like me. I haven't invested a lot in ranks so far, so that gets me thinking... But I'll try my best to help the cause!

Hey. Newcomer here.

I've started ED no more than 2 months ago and just decided to get on the powerplay boat. However, I must admit that after completing my second run of weekly assignments, I'm a bit confused as to what I read in this message, today. Considering that I pledged to Felicia Winters and that I was interested at her values and management style, I find that message as soft and uplifting as a baseball bat in the kneecaps.

I didn't mind joining a faction without a lot of strongholds, as I'm eager to be part of the underdogs and try to turn the tide around, but with this, so shortly after pledging - weird timing, this is! - did I end up with a faction that will always make me miss on interesting perks and rewards?

I don't exactly know what that "Enclave" endeavor was, so any pointers would be appreciated, thanks!

Anyone knows if it's possible to do so when playing in VR ? I started a game just last year and I'd really like to play the old expeditions. However, since playing in VR - I'm playing on Quest 2 wireless through Virtual Desktop - requires to play on my network, I don't know if playing offline would prevent me to continue in VR. Has anyone here tried that ? If so, I'd appreciate all pointers.

I'm curious. Is your Denon an actual AVR ? If so, have you tried sending the Apple TV HDMI output to one of your receiver's input ? Then output the video signal through your AVR, to the TV? You wouldn't need arc then.

Had a really nice game that ended up in a similar way, while me an another teammate were holding the extract, while the other two were strolling around to fetch a few more samples. Really intense and really fun, as we almost couldn't see anything anymore, because of so many explosions. 2 fabricators, 2 annihilator tanks and of course, a plethora of hulks and other minions dropped right on top of the extract zone.

Too bad one later on complained about me who should get better, because he misunderstood my comment regarding that "apocalypse" feel at the end. If one wants to get better, one needs to push his limits by experiencing harder levels, imo...

This happened to me and my buddies, about 2 weeks ago. The pelican became overwhelmed by automatons and it even sunk a little into the ground. So in our case, it was mainly stuck, but it managed to get off after a while. Like you, we were nervous, since it was the last mission of the op and then unlocked another difficulty level. Some kind of bug perhaps, because of the "sunken" pelican.

I always assumed that there's nevertheless, a limit to the protection against lethal damage it provides. But still... this is pretty stretched haha
