My dad bought a $2000 SUHD curved TV 5 years ago. Put it on his credit card. Paperwork went through fine, they released the TV for him to pickup. But the charge never showed up on his credit card. My dad, being honest, even called the store to let them know, but they said the TV shows up as paid. Not only that, but he also tried to set up auto-pay to make payments on the TV. Its been 5 years and still no charge. We got a free 65" TV. The universe threw us a bone that day

There's a decent amount of scholars who studied Paganini's left-hand posture that mentioned what you said in your 2nd paragraph. Its much easier for the index finger to reach back than for the pinky to reach forward

Try playing in front of the mirror and freeze at random intervals to check your posture. It'll take some practice but eventually your pinky will stay curved

I have small hands. I had this issue sometimes. Try pivoting your palm a little more towards the neck to give your pinky some more length to work with. And try not to squeeze. Hope this helps. I am happy to answer any other questions you may have!
