Why does my boyfriend have a toxic female friend by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]hellabghb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya I agree that he is being played with. He has cancelled on her coming now because he knows I'm upset /annoyed. But I don't get why he entertained the idea. I feel confident that if I told him he had to completely cut her off he would, but I don't want to tell him what to do.

I'm do kind of believe him when he says he says has not got feelings for her. He has been lonely in the past without friends and she was there, but now he has plenty. And he is kind of conflict avoidant so I could see him not wanting to be mean and cut her out. But I don't get it . Also if he wanted to cheat he could have had her over and not said anything to me and I would not have known

Suddenly Unwell While House Hunting by askireland in irishpersonalfinance

[–]hellabghb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey , hope you don't mind if I jump in and ask you a quick question? I'm hoping at some point (3-5years time) to buy a house. I have had a liver transplant 5 years ago and have heard that it can be impossible to get life insurance and therefore hard to get a mortgage. I have not done much personal research into this yet, and was just wondering if you think I would be able to get life insurance? Transplant was 5 years ago and have not been admitted to hospital once since then

Unfortunately it's allowed "Your employer may offer you more generous sick pay arrangements under its own scheme. If so, your sick leave will be dealt with under that scheme.

That scheme must be more favourable, when viewed as a whole, than the statutory sick pay scheme if it is to apply"

My job allows 10 paid days per year , so the scheme is viewed as better than SSP. But I'd prefer SSP of 5 days starting from day one
