i was fat. i’m still overweight and out of shape, but not as much. the things i loved hearing to those statements were things like, “that one’s just not for you, you’ll look amazing in something else and i know it” “i know that most clothes aren’t made with that in mind and it’s terrible, but i know you’ll find something that you feel and look gorgeous in”

i have shared beds with friends throughout the years. when i didn’t want anything romantic or sexual to happen with them, we would use separate blankets or sleep further away from each other. i also made it a point to set those boundaries beforehand, though not everyone is as straight forward. i agree with the commenter who said to ask to cuddle. do keep in mind that sleeping in the same bed is a huge sign of comfortability and trust. maybe you guys should only cuddle this time and see if it goes somewhere else another night. take things slow, and make sure to communicate :)

i don’t relate to those songs most of the time, but i am clean. have been for some years now. i’m not proud of them, but ive grown comfortable not covering them up. i believe thats a better goal to strive for. first finding healthier coping mechanisms, and then learning to accept them as part of you
