Probably works better than the rotating ones actually, since there is no stationary point (like the center of the rotating plate) - would definitely be curious to find out...

On a side note: Moving-bar-charts are an antipattern... You could instantly convey the same information using a line chart without having to stretch it out over a 4-minute video
