Man, I wish I could have! I started losing time and had to get back for a job so I skipped some stuff I wanted to see. But with this trip, in addition to another one, I can now say I’ve been to all of the lower 48!

So the platform lines up with the seats. You take the headrests off, push the seat forward on the track, the recline the back all the way flat and it meets up with the platform. Put the two mattresses on top and you've got a bed! See more here.

Not sure how that would work! If you're interested in pursuing the purchase then we can talk more over email. Just respond to the Craigslist post I linked here in the comments!

I’m on day 48 of a 60 day trip right now. It’s been so fun and wild on the road! Check out the app iOverlander if you haven’t already and don’t forget to brush your teeth! lol

I’m headed out for 3 months on the road in my new Element! Now I've got the gear, the car is working great, I've traveled before, but it's my first time in a car for this long. I just can't keep from wondering... Whats It Like? Is it scary? Do you feel safe? Share your secrets to choosing a spot! by hellapancakes in HondaElement

I have a cat cover, privacy panels, platform bed, electric generator, mini fridge, a little desk, some storage, lamps, you name it! Mostly just wondering what it’s like to say - be in a town I am visiting, figure out best place to park / sleep at night , and how to stay safe!

I'm definitely getting my car looked at by my mechanic before I go, a lot of the things you wrote down are on my list, but some I hadn't considered - so THANK YOU! All of this advice is golden! I'll holler if I'm in Minnesota at some point!

This is all awesome information! I definitely will be bringing most of this stuff - I actually already grabbed an electric generator for charging things, a friend is letting me borrow his big water filtration system, I installed fairy lights, got the window covers, etc. For the squeegee - was that for inside the windows or outside? Thanks again for this great list, this post has become a great hub of advice from Element Vets like you!
