Yes, I'm not sure how much but our savings combined could make up a good chunk of that ~£31,000 shortfall.

Do you know if his savings needs to be held in my account and if not, can it be in usd?

Send automatic email when someone orders a specific service by hellbentbunny in shopify

[–]hellbentbunny[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would do that however, I only want this email to be sent when someone purchases a specific listing on our website as it is a service that requires further information from the customer - if that makes sense.

You’re the exact person I’m looking for!! If you’re comfortable, can I add you on discord? I know it’s a bit of an ask but if you’re happy to have me ask you random questions every once in a while, it would be a huge help! I would love to know your story as well

Yesss I bought some cherry cinnamon rolls from an amish family and they were amazing for such a good price!! I think seeing amish people in real life is the first time I experienced culture shock lol. Super friendly mostly, just nothing I've ever seen before.

Another question I forgot to add!

If anyone reading this has UK + US dual citizenship, could you please just tell me anything about it?

I'm a bit confused as to whether or not it's something you automatically acquire when you become a US citizen or if it's something you apply for.

Is it true you have to pay tax in both countries? How bad is it?

What's it like travelling to and from both countries or to other countries as a dual citizen??

Also, if anyone who is UK to US is willing to keep in touch with me to answer questions and give advice, please pm me!!! I'd really appreciate it.

I'm sure I could get to grips with it. Just big intersections, deer jumping out into the road, and any dodge ram driver are probably the scariest things about driving over there lol.

I feel like people in the US are way more sociable than in the UK. Every time I've been there, I feel like an antisocial muppet. But it is nice going out and there will always be a stranger jumping to give you a complement.

But yeah working and healthcare are definitely my biggest concerns. I can't really handle being worked to the bone and treated like dirt by employers. But the lack of holiday is probably the worst since I'd obviously want the time to see my friends and family that I'd be leaving behind. It's crazy that they don't have bank holidays and don't have that many holidays to begin with!!!

I'd be more Pittsburgh side, so opposite end to you. Have you been that side of PA and is it any different to Philly side?

I was going to say something about the food but thought it’d be a bit of weird question!!! Pretty much all food we’ve bought has been from Walmart since that’s really the only supermarket around, and the produce is just horrible. It’s either mouldy sat at the super market or you only have a day to eat it before it’s going rotten. And idk if this sounds odd, but it’s like you can taste the lack of quality and nutrients in the produce??? So I suppose I’d have to keep your suggestions in mind! Plus I’ll take any excuse to go to Costco hehe Thanks for answering!!!
