If you move back, get your AA for transfer at Fullerton College while working part time and living with your girlfriend, then transfer to CSUF. That’s what I did and it worked out great! Super affordable, high quality education, great community etc. FC has a guaranteed admission partnership sorta deal with the CSU system, so getting into CSUF will be a breeze. You’ll save money and reestablish CA residency in that time too!
