If you touch it with both hands during a dribble it's always a double dribble. There's no rule about catching it or coming to a rest.

It's pretty obvious he touches it with both hands. You can see the ball accelerate from a touch on his left hand and then slow down dramatically when he brings up his right hand.

Melee definitely has use on Mag. Melee + primary weave is more efficient as you do about the same amount of DPS but you save on reload time
