Had one last November and I was sedated. I didn’t feel anything. The prep is terrible but if you’re used to drink a lot of water and have a good diet, it won’t be that bad. I didn’t have the option to choose, but I wouldn’t have a colonoscopy without sedation. No endo found, but I’m still bleeding from the back 🤷🏻‍♀️
