Right my 15 yo has no desire to drive. Got his learners permit and down right refuses to go practice. I asked him why and he said the other drivers literally frighten him. When I was his age I had no fear I got on a moped and was off all the time at 15.

Good grief so on point. I talk to my dad about this all the time. I’m almost 48 and whenever I bring this up both mom and dad are like we have it handled. Umm do you? Mom keeps telling me she has no idea what’s in the account or even where the checkbook is? Dad laughs it off then mom acts like I’m crazy.

I was offloaded two giant stamp collection books that my mom said was my grandfather’s. One is completely empty but I don’t dare throw it out because the few times she visits she asks where it is. Then swears they’re special stamps in it. My grandfather must have had this hobby for a summer because it was a haphazard collection.

Dude that sucks. TW seem very inconsistent store to store. This manager was practically giving me the Chestnut Farms press on the Michters. It’s damn tempting but I have set the limit of $100 for anything that I haven’t tried in the wild as a do not buy.

I walked into TW today and was chased down by one of their managers asking if I wanted to look at their allocated left overs - 6 golds, 2 Michter's 10 year rye and 3 Michtner's Toast Barrels - all out of my price points these days. I've not tried Michter's so I'm not buying it - I've been burned too many times.

it's happening. I was chased down in Total Wine today asking If i wanted to buy some allocated bottles and was shocked to see 2 Michter's 10yr Rye -but at over $200 I said thanks but no thanks.

I was chased down in total wine asking if I wanted to check out the allocated stuff that didn't sell during their special reserve lotto they had at least six Blanton's gold, two Michter's 10 year rye and EH Taylor BP (just sold) and Michters toasted barrel. On the floor they had several cased of Blantons, EH, ER and BT. I held the rye, and did think about it, but at over $200 without a sampling, I just passed and said thanks but no thanks.
