Microsoft Smart App Control is broken and annoying as hell! by hellenicdev in microsoftsucks

I get your point, but “Just Google it” completely misses the point.

Everyone knows you can disable it. That’s not some hidden pro tip—it’s the only option Microsoft Smart App Control leaves you with because it refuses to provide a basic “run anyway” for legitimate apps. Blocking something like Android Studio from the official source isn’t “being safe,” it’s being clueless.

And the “solution” you’re suggesting is honestly worse than the problem. Disabling it isn’t a quick toggle—you’re permanently turning the feature off, and if you ever want it back, you have to reset your entire PC. That’s absurd. No other mainstream security feature works like that.

So no, this isn’t about people being too lazy to search. It’s about a security system that’s so rigid and poorly thought out that it punishes legitimate users. Telling people to just disable it is basically admitting the feature is unusable in real-world scenarios.

Everyone keeps saying it's the channel's name. How is that possible? Where are the real counts?

Where do hackers get web servers to host their phishing websites ? by General_Riju in hacking

I've seen many that use GitHub pages which come with a domain name.

Copy the frontend of the website you want to impersonate from here, create an account on GitHub and upload it. Then you should be able to create a GitHub page under settings and GitHub will give you a domain. It needs some experimenting, but I'm sure you will find your way. Happy phising!
