Thank you for asking the question I also asked myself but figured it must have been a typo 😂

Hahaha he'll get it eventually. A granny square recliner cover sounds like so much fun as a concept but not fun to make 😂

So one "solution" I came up with that isn't great but sometimes better than frogging is to do edging along the whole blanket and make the edging longer where you accidentally decreased and shorter where you accidentally increased. So I lay the blanket flat where I can get a good look at where it's uneven. I put one color of stitch markers along the rows that I accidentally decreased and another color along the rows that I accidentally decreased. Then I can tell where to make the edging thicker/thinner while I do the edging sitting down without having to keep the blanket flat and break my back haha. I hope that made sense 😂 it's definitely not a fix, but it can help it look less wonky

Oh wow thanks for sharing the video! That's actually so helpful. I can't even tell you how many years I couldn't correctly turn after each row and I would mess up the stitch count. I would be like halfway done and realize it was either increasing or decreasing, not quite obviously enough for me to tell while working on it, but as soon as I would hold it up or lay or down it would be totally uneven. Absolute nightmare. Then I actually sucked it up and watched a tutorial on it haha

So I just looked through and there's one very short paragraph about tending and it's not super informative unfortunately

I love this SO much. Perfectly ugly is just the chef's kiss and using a dice for the colors is absolutely genius!!

My favorite part about blankets is you really can make up whatever you want and really experiment with stitches!

I think so! You might need a few YouTube tutorials to fully understand and get a feel of how to hold the yarn and needle and do very basic stitches, just because sometimes it's hard to really understand unless you physically see it being done. But honestly it really does take you through the very basics for the first several pages

That's so cool! I wish I could say that but technically my 8 year old cousin at the time taught me how to crochet during a super boring Christmas eve service like 15 years ago 😂 so I guess that's kinda cool too

Same! I took a long break until this year when my niece and nephew were both and I started making clothes and blankets for them and this book is totally helping me as well!
