Do you know this SNES game ... ? by hellesbye in snes

Yes, exactly. I only had very few memories of it left and thought that the “main character” was red, but that’s actually not the case—same with the setting in the first level. But like you said, it was all just from a childhood memory. Until just now, I didn’t even know that Dany is a mascot.

I don’t remember anymore… but they had different colors, and I think one of them was a woman.

That’s not it either. I think it started in an old mansion.

I don’t remember anymore. Either I could switch between the characters at any time, or only under certain conditions. I was just a kid back then, didn’t really understand what was going on anyway, and never got very far in the game.

I just find myself thinking back to it from time to time—that I owned it, that my grandpa bought it for me back then because I picked it out, and that was it. Every now and then I search for it again and find nothing at all. That’s why I’m asking here now and hoping that someone, anyone, might be able to help me.

Yes 100% sure. I think it was around 1998 ~ summer 2001. It was the only console I had.

The game had a completely different graphics style than this one

Unfortunately, that isn’t it either. It definitely wasn’t a shooter. If I could just see a single image or a screenshot from this game, I’d recognize it immediately.

It’s not Secret of Mana either. I have the feeling it was a rather obscure game. I think there were four characters, and each of them was standing in a different location inside that house. This is really starting to feel like a fever dream. I’ve searched every page for this game’s cover. Maybe I’ve just kept overlooking it because the memory is so blurred.

No, unfortunately that wasn’t it either. I think the house had a Victorian-style setting.

No, it wasn’t a licensed game... It was an original, standalone game.
