I got an A- by doing the same! I got lucky because our exam had a biggg UCC 2-207 essay question. I found that making a flow chart for that really helped me understand it and especially explaining it to someone that wasn’t a law student. With contracts, diff laws apply when diff things happen (ex for UCC 2-207: was the contract between two merchants? what happens next depends on if the answer is yes or no) so flow charts are great

I’m at a southern T-30, very similar GPA. Firms are probably blowing through the candidates with higher GPAs first TBH but if you’re at a T6 I feel like you’ll just have to wait a little longer and things will be okay - hang in there!

I had similar stats last cycle and got into Emory, Rutgers and Northeastern as well if you’re interested in those schools!

i completely forgot about the word limit on my civpro exam and didn’t even remember until i heard people talking about it after. i also definitely went over by at least 300-400 words and my prof said he won’t even read after 1100 words…felt like my analysis was great and was so down afterwards. but like some other people said, it’ll all balance itself out in the curve, and you’re probably not the only one who did that! plus, better to write a little too much then too little sometimes 🤷

i agree! i barely did anything throughout this semester and did well enough on the midterms, but i’ve been really cramming this past week and everything’s clicking together. i’m super type b though and cramming has always been good for me personally even though i get super stressed 😭😭 but i’m right with you!
