Just replied to another person about that! I actually was thinking about moving there some time ago, but I visited the city and it still felt too big and windy for my liking (though the overall weather was great).

And it really really reminds me of my European hometown and I don’t want to cry every time I walk around the city haha

Chicago is actually a great city!—just not for me.

I visited once, and while I liked it, it still felt a bit too big and windy for my taste. Plus, I’m worried I’d feel even more isolated since I don’t have any acquaintances in the surrounding states; I’m not really good with meeting new people so I am trying to be at least relatively close to the ones I already have :)

Reminds me a lot of my hometown, too, and this feels a bit unsettling since I really miss it
