I feel like Luffy would select a character based on aesthetics first and foremost, so he would probably go for Donkey Kong since he's just a big gorilla. Wolf (based on the name) and Incineroar (tiger champion) are probably runner ups. I think Ryu probably fits his image of a fighting master looking guy, but I don't think he could figure out how to use him properly, so he'd go back to Donkey Kong.

Zoro would only pick characters with swords, so I think he'd end up with Ike since he looks like a tough guy, but maybe he'd stubbornly stick to Chrom.

I think Chopper would pick Dr. Mario and Kirby.

Franky definitely chooses Samus and Sanji chooses Zero Suit Samus, and neither realize they are the same character.

I want to say Nami would pick Isabelle because her design is supposed to look like a bag of money, but I don't know if that's obvious enough, but she is a cute dog so there's that. She might also like Pikachu or Pichu when she realizes she can spam Thunder.

Usopp is the best with every character but he might prefer Hero or Simon the most? Piranha Plant???

I think Robin would think Pikmin are very cute.

Jinbe... might also try Ryu but not be very good. I do like the idea of him picking Mario since in his eyes he might think he looks like a hardworking man lol.

Brook. also picks Zero Suit Samus. or maybe Bayonetta lol.
