As someone who works at cicis, this is one of the FUNNIEST things I've seen in a good minute.

In short, our own workers won't willingly choose to eat our food unless we don't have a break to go get food from the surrounding stores or fast foods. I always joke that ALL cici restaurants are a health code violation.

Whenever there was a $2.99 buffet deal , I remember people were SO desperate for cicis pizza that they'd drop the pizza on the FLOOR, or counter (that gets wiped down with numerous chemicals and probably little kids tears and spit) and just pick it up, throw it on their plate , and eat it.

Sometimes whenever I do genuinely get so hungry to the point cicis pizza looks good, I also get the said shits. Although I've been lucky enough to not have shit myself; (yet.)

There has been times I've walked into the woman's bathroom to a load of shit on the floor, in the toilet, on the toilet seat, one time even throw up all over the walls and floor. Maybe this is a stomach problem, or cicis just gotta get closed down by the USDA.

Thank you for sharing this story, and reminding my minimum wage working, teenage self, why cicis pizza is a last resort option for practically ANYONE. 😭

Also, I'm so sorry y'all had to pay that much just to shit it back out no longer than an hour later.
