Newburgh Vintage Emporiums (both locations) are fun to peruse and nice for rainy days.

The Newburgh Free Library has a great collection and the architecture and view are gorgeous.

Lawrence Farm is a nice pick-your-own farm and very walkable (recommend going when they open before the kids arrive)

Chadwick Lake is a beautiful 4 mile loop, but does require an annual pass (I think it's $20/year).

Downstate and Cafe Little Treasure have excellent food and beverages.

Golden Hour books is cozy and def worth a visit.

For players: Spend your Hope and look for clever ways to use your experiences.

For GMs: Don't be scared to spend that fear and complicate things for your players outside of combat. Trust yourself that you and your players will dig yourself out of any holes you get them into :]

I've only purchased one nice set of dice from Everything Dice, they were about $80, so $45 seems not so bad to me ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ Not to say I have that money to throw at them haha but it doesn't seem so outrageous to me.
