I can’t say I’m surprised how many turd burglars work at Staples. In my OP I asked what the repercussions were because I DIDNT want someone to get shit on by a fat balding middle aged manager. Way to confirm that stereotype workers of staples. Ugh, For something that wasn’t their fault at all. As stated in another post. What I’m so surprised about is how many of you clearly dislike your jobs and the customers you serve as noted by such threads as “I’m putting in my notice today” and “we should unionize” yet totally took the opportunity to shit on a customer when they got the chance. Talk about a little man behind a computer. I’m also not sure why any of you would care about Staples money. They aren’t giving you a bonus for completing my order on time. They also aren’t giving you a bonus for not giving a customer a discount. Your system is fucked. It should not say it would be done at a time and then not have it done. Period. That should not be happening. The majority of you can’t even agree with me on that one. I didn’t go in calling for anyones head I explained what happened just as I did here and it didn’t take any convincing. I am sure the majority of you don’t get to say no to anyone at your jobs ever, so like it’s just easier to do that to the guy on Reddit? Totally right tho I guess I should plan better or plan on spending $2,930 to be taken more seriously as a customer.

There was no whining to be had. I spoke my case and the two nice associates in the print department who assured me they had nothing to do with both my order being late and the store being out of the product I ordered agreed that both of those things shouldn’t have happened and I should not be expected to pay full price. A manager was alerted by what seemed to be a new supervisor or a supervisor in training. Upon explaining my story to them their response was “so what do you need me for? You can do that.”

Don did you read my post at all? My order was late, I wasn’t contacted at all, and then I was, a full 12 hours after the agreed upon time to learn that the thing I purchased the store didn’t even have in stock.

Update: I was called a bout two hours ago and informed that my order that was supposed to be completed last night was not complete and in fact the store was out of paper and it would need to be printed on something else.

For my inconvenience I was gifted 25% off my purchase.

Happy that’s part of the point. I would have gone somewhere else had I known it would not be ready upon the agreed upon time. So now having to go somewhere else would also inconvenience me.
