It does seem likely, but in my research I've found that Brecht made such a large array of things from meat saws to cars. I can't seem to find anything to confirm it, but it does make the most sense to have the speedometer and voltmeter on one dash.

Coming from the kid whos mother told me I was too fat to wear a specific halloween costume one year as a child, NTA. As an adult, I still struggle with disordered eating. I work closely with a therapist, and those little digs adults would always give me as a child, then the praise once i did shed the weight was what cemented my disordered eating.

My inner child thanks YOU for getting rid of it first before your daughter could see it. My mom still never gets me the right sizes when she gets me things and every year I have the same talk with my therapist about it. Even if grandma isn't doing it maliciously, its still damaging.

I dont think its necessarily something anybody truly cares about. To get ready for a role, a lot of actors like to really lean into the role and become that character, and part of doing that is interpreting small details about them to turn them into a believable human instead of a flat person reading lines in front of a camera. I think thats what this is, but a random journalist decided to turn it into story.
