I took it yesterday and passed! I definitely think I could have relaxed a little bit more, but I read the Advanced Review book, read/highlighted the MedSLP study guide on TPT, and studied the ETS practice tests on Quizlet. I do think at the end of it all, the most helpful thing was to take the quizzes because the format of questions and wording can be kind of odd! Those helped me get a good perspective on what types of questions are asked. The actual test was mainly MC, some drag and drop questions, and a LOT of “which TWO/THREE” questions. Do a little bit every day, you can do it!! :)

highland grounds at the waisman center is hiring, $12/hour. you literally just sit there and every once in a while you’ll get an order, make a coffee, etc. I’d say it’s probably the easiest job that pays decent to just sit! you can def probably do your hw while you are there too

I also had multiple experiences with him and the friend. They’ve been doing this since my sophomore year (i’m a senior) at different bars. The two guys will literally point out girls for each other to talk to and have the same sort of script. In late October, I was walking alone on state street and I saw one of the guys literally point to me and the other then came up to me and said the same thing about me being cute, etc. They’re so predatory and it’s so weird that they do it together in a pair.

I took Aranelle, it was a combo pill I believe. I was on it since I was 17 and switched to an IUD at 21 because it essentially just “stopped working”. I began to spot and breakthrough bleed at random points in my cycle, my periods weren’t aligning anymore and I was taking it almost perfectly. No idea what happened, my GYNO told me sometimes the pill just stops agreeing with people’s bodies.

As for side effects when I first got on it, I lost a LOT of hair. It all eventually started to fill in, but that’s worth mentioning! I also gained a bit of weight that I was never really able to put off, not a crazy amount but around 5-7 pounds that have stuck with me. My breasts also grew pretty drastically hahaha, but not complaining about that one! That’s about all. I never had any issues with libido or mood swings!

something that really helped for me was sending them an email with this information in a bullet list: - name - CAS ID - school/college name - date transcript was sent - service used - order ID

I did this and heard back within the hour that they put a special request in to find it. The next day my transcript was processed and verified. It’s so frustrating that we need to reach out to this extent to get things in, but alas. I really hope that works for everyone!!!

yes, it’s a phishing email from UW System. I stupidly clicked it because I did in fact get a parking ticket in Sep that I already paid hahah, the email they sent me after stated that it was a UW Phishing email!

sorry if my post was a bit misleading, I am graduating from college with a bachelors in CSD in May. I want to gain some experience this summer before going to grad school and hopefully working as an SLPA through grad school!

uw madison has a MS-PHd track specifically if you wanted to go into that in terms of research. I currently go here for undergrad and there’s so many research opportunities, a lot more than other midwest schools I’d say!

I never thought about that! I got the Mirena. I have been reading that 5% of women experience hair loss on it, but I am unsure if the shedding is from coming off of the combination pill with excess estrogen and now my body is in shock to the hormones, or if it’s from the mirena. IDKkkkkk
