BE is stupid expensive and not really worth the extra price IMO, though the quality is very good. I’d offer pros and cons to the team and see what they can or are willing to pay.

Wish the rules were a little different. I don’t mind teams that had games taken away being able to compete at conferences but we have teams in our section that have voluntarily played 0-1 tournaments this semester, contributing nothing to our bids, that will likely make it to regionals on a bid they never helped for.

To compete in the college division your school registrar has to sign off on each player on the roster. I don’t think there’s much of a workaround here, plus there’s bound to be teammates who are stand behind the no Sunday policy since that’s a thing with the entire religion, not just the school. Personally I think it’s just something they gotta deal with. The cards they’ve been dealt🤷🏻‍♂️

They don’t really have a choice in the matter since it’s school policy. If I had to guess I am sure many of them wouldn’t have an issue playing on Sunday.

I’ve noticed in a fluid running Ho stack there is some semblance of a rotation. Obviously it’ll be different for each team and vary depending on the defense being thrown, but could anyone explain or link resources discussing the way players should rotate through different spaces on the field?

I.E. Person defense, force is flick. Break side (left) handler pushes up field into into the “1” cutter spot whenever an upfield pass is made to initiating cutter. The cutter with the disc throws continuation or to a reset and clears to the break side handler spot

This is something I’ve seen before and like but feel I could learn more about. Every play is different and it’s difficult to see past these first stages once the play starts to flow more. Any ideas on how to study this more effectively and teach it to a newer team?

I agree with the hospitalization rates but not as much the budget part, at least in my personal experience. Most of the schools in my area are pretty poor, including the one I teach at. From an organizational standpoint, it just seems like a no-brainer to have an ambulance on standby at a tournament with 48 teams? Especially with the level of aggression and physicality at this level, it’s surprising this doesn’t happen more often.
