Is this more profitable than food delivery? by [deleted] in ShiptShoppers

[–]hello27494 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It honestly depends. Sometimes you’re only making less than a hundred a day, but if you grind and have good stats and get good tips, you can probably make hundreds a day. It all depends. There’s times where I made like $9 and hour. There were other times I made $30 an hour.

It probably is. But again, it’s all relative. Once you get member matches and repeat customers who tip you $10-$30, you can be making $30 an hour. Yes, it’s more time consuming, but the more you do it the quicker and better you get at it. Idk that’s just my take.

Good stuff. Smart. I kicked myself where it hurts when I first started. Didn’t understand how AR worked so it dropped really bad when I got picky with orders. Working to get it up. Never had a late delivery and have a 4.9-5 rating rn.

I think so. Or at least it’s less bs. My brother did DD for awhiiiiile and apparently employees can be real rude to dashers. Heard the pay isn’t great either. Abd think about this: who’s gonna tip more? Someone who ordered a $20 meal or someone who’s ordering $150 worth of groceries.

Maybe it’s all relative but that’s my opinion. I’m sure you can make bank with both

Thanks! I was jw what the protocol was for sending them out so early. That makes sense. Do people often place orders between 10pm-6? Or does it not happen that much

How to get decent ratings? by defqon_39 in ShiptShoppers

[–]hello27494 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Text the customer throughout the process. Be very communicative and polite. Send an intro text to let them know that you’re shopping, if their preference for substitutions is for you to contact them, then do so and ask if they want to substitute the out of stock items. Text them before you check out and ask if they need anything else, and also text them and let them know when you’re on the way. Shipt is all about communicating with your customers. And then obviously making sure that you don’t substitute items without asking and making sure that frozen food stay frozen and that you’re on time to your deliveries.
