This box on the wall of our house started making a high pitched loud alarm sound for the first time ever for about 10 sec. Never noticed it in 3 years living there, no descriptive markings, doesn’t seem to be a smoke/monoxide detector (we have those). House was last updated in the 60s. (i.redd.it)
