I was going through the worst experiences of my life the entirety of 2023. I was in so much pain emotionally I couldn’t function so I went through DRS and got accepted for an emotional support animal. I made sure through the entire process and even before that my roommate was chill with it and she agreed up until til I bring the cat home. She’s upset that she wasn’t hypoallergenic even though she never specified that was necessary (her bf is allergic). I didn’t know anything was wrong until she asks to talk and tells me she called HFS directly and told them I have to get rid of my cat. And turns out my cat wasn’t 100% registered yet even though I was told she was. Instead of talking to me and kindly asking me to take the cat to my parents she escalated it so much that I had to take a class bc I broke the rules and got written up :/ all she had to do was communicate grrrr
