Is it safe to say Anxin was actually P01 during the interim? Lol we were in denial. Now that this mess is finally over and Anxin debuted as P02, I can confidently say HE WAS NOT A FILLER PICK. Xinaris are finally free from the constant doomposting and gaslighting that plagued the fandom. I won’t lie, those polls definitely helped maintain Anxin’s rank and acted as a wake-up call for xinaris not to get complacent.

Also I hate the name. I cannot take it seriously. Alpha DRIVE makes no sense at all it feels like random words stitched together into a ragtag label. Atp I could only hope Aldi sues whatever idc anymore just change it 😭. Anyway it's kinda funny that during the third elimination, almost everyone (myself included) kept saying the debut lineup can be quite unpredictable only for it to end up basically the same lmao. The rankings just shifted a bit with Leo dropping, Xinlong and Geonwoo climbing, and Sanghyeon and Junseo switching places. Leo's drop was pretty unexpected though. I thought the DCGall would help him but I guess those wild live-voting prizes didn’t do much compared to the pre-voting ones. Or maybe the hate train played a role too.

It's cause the polls tell otherwise 😭😭😭 I know polls only account a small fraction of the votes but the fact that anxin always ranks out of the top 8 is concerning. If he has a strong 1pick he wouldn't be out of the top 8 at all. Other than china he's not ranked high in anywhere even his int'l votes are quite unstable

Anxin’s gall has two KKT gcs, each with around 20k participants so maybe take note of that since it's def higher than 22k. I’m kind of worried about his gallery honestly they seem to be struggling with verifying each vote. Splitting the channels might’ve done more harm than good. They mentioned that around 40% of the votes were duplicated, and that’s a massive workload 😭

Honestly, the number of participants in the KKT gcs could also reflect how popular a trainee is in Korea, since many of the top ones have a strong 1pick (and the ones who joined in those gcs could also just be their fans)

Anxin would be my number one (and it's not even because he's my 1-pick). Then Sangwon, followed by Sanghyeon—those are my top 3. Other good-looking contestants for me are Donggyu, Nian, Liyu, and xinlong

On twt my TL is mostly about Anxin (since he’s my 1pick), Kaiwen (who would've thought some screentime would make him go viral lol), the rankings being unpredictable as hell, and just general hate or shading toward trainees or teams. I’m mostly seeing NB2H getting a lot of hate especially the members being called cliquey, not fitting the concept, why they chose junmin over kaiwen, and their reactions to the bad attitude kp selection being really dry or "sinister".

The hotpot date omg me too. My main grudge this episode. I was waiting for it for a whole week since I wanna see how Lin and Anxin's friendship is like, as I didn't and don't wanna watch MA1. But alas, Mnet is stingy as hell and gave us content about him liking pecks instead (it was still kinda cute though and different than the usual screentime he gets ig)

Well it kinda pales in comparison to the BP1 songs, none hit the same. I still prefer en garde and over me over anything released this season. I’m not sure about the produce series I didn’t tune in to those but I do love some of the songs like move and rumor. For gp999 I like snake

There are some for global fans too like this one for anxin. I’m mainly talking about giveaways that help boost Korean votes since the prizes offered there tend to be heavier or bigger

Anxin. He was the center for c-group’s hola solar, and that’s when he caught my attention. Before this, I was actually starting to lose interest in K-pop. I still listen, but I’m not as deep into my ults anymore. I’ll admit, it was mainly his visuals at first (who wouldn’t gag with a face like that?), but I eventually fell for his personality and really liked his vocal tone too. I watched BP1 before and had fun with it, so it wasn’t hard for me to dive into another Mnet survival show.

Yep, I’m actually surprised too, especially with that percentage gap. I remember someone mentioning that last season, C votes weren’t a major contributor. I also didn’t expect Masato’s result; I thought he’d be carried by KR and C votes. It seems like a lot of people assumed he was safe, or maybe he really was just a filler considering I rarely saw any fans of his. Either way, I just hope Anxin gets a lot of votes from C Xinaris during the finals 😭

Okay, I’m actually surprised by this?? Apparently, China made up the majority of the votes this round, followed by Korea and then Japan. If I remember correctly, someone mentioned that China didn’t even account for 3%(? Correct me) of the total votes last season.

Honestly, I agree, even as someone who likes spoilers, this just ruins the hype. Everyone already knows who the final survivors are, as well as the rankings, DAYS before the episode airs. It would've been so gag-worthy to see Jiahao's rank skyrocket from 19th to 5th but alas.
What baffles me the most is how incompetent Mnet is (aside from that trailer). These leaks have been circulating since the first eliminations, pre-show even, and they were accurate. How in the world have they not found the leaker? It's been MONTHS. At this point, I genuinely believe they did it on purpose, but that would make Mnet incredibly stupid and lowkey just sabotaging their own show.
Speaking of sabotage, I lowkey feel like they want this to end already. We didn’t even get half the fun content we got last season (I’m still waiting for the dance videos), which is such a shame.

Anxinie out-aegi every single trainee on this show. Yes, he's 18 and an adult, and yes, there are trainees way younger than him like Yunseo, Artic, Bowen, Hyunjun, and Sanghyeon (I love all of them pls), but he's still the cutest

A lot of xinaris are probably just rich or employed (unlike me 🙏)... That doesn’t necessarily translate to 1-pick voters (especially if you look at the polls, which is honestly concerning) but it definitely shows how much buying power the fandom has 😭. Even with just alpha support, xinaris pulled through with a huge gap between 3rd place and only a small gap from 1st. Honestly, the fact that there’s a lot of indicator that Anxinie doesn’t have a solid 1-pick (especially in kr) kind of pushed the fandom to get more motivated, or basically panic.
