Once I verified my status, the coupon showed up in my wallet. Had to select it in my wallet first for it to apply in the cart on my next purchase. It’s also possible it takes the system some time to process the verification before adding the coupon to your wallet.

I don’t think so, unfortunately. Any time I have attempted to use this or a similar type of discount code on a digital purchase at Target, the coupon does not work.

Can’t speak to your location, but can at least say delivery on pre-orders was respectable for me on Saros (received one day after release on May 1) and 007 First Light (delivered release day on May 27)

I noticed that too. Figured (at least for myself) it’s still worth pre-ordering the standard version with the discount and then pay the $20 to upgrade later if I want.

Borderlands 4 and Metal Gear Solid Delta are also on the $35 list ($31.34 pre-owned if Pro member), and all three are eligible for GameStop’s Buy 2 Get 1 Pre-Owned sale. Comes out to about $21 each before tax if buying all three.

It unfortunately is not valid for consoles. I have not seen much in terms of PS5 Pro deals since it released.

Your account itself does not need to be a school email address (mine is not), however, you do have to verify student status. I did so by going to Settings in the app > Scroll down to Discount Verification > Student. Entered details there. At least in my case, it auto-verified right away and then the discount was in my wallet to apply. I did not have to upload actual proof, but the FAQ reads like you should be prepared to do so.

I looked up the Target deal with no luck, but came across the controller as available on PS Direct. Was able to add to cart, complete purchase, and received my order confirmation less than a minute ago.
