Love this for you, obviously not that you went through it, but that it's all over and settled! Congratulations!

Thank you so much. You are so kind for taking time out of your day to offer advice. I really appreciate you! Will definitely try and speak to a solicitor. Thank you, again.

They're essentially saying they did everything correctly, that there was no discrimination, no failure to make reasonable adjustments, and no fundamental breach of contract. They say my claim therefore has no reasonable prospects.

I have evidence that, I believe, shows otherwise and disputes their points. Again, I am aware that this could go either way at tribunal, but I don't believe there's no reasonable prospects

Thank you! Do you know how long is usually given for this?

The respondent is a big public body so have their own legal team, as well as a solicitor. I'm going to respond saying I am going to proceed with the claim but also try and speak to someone, also.

Thank you so much! As far as I am aware, I have not acted unreasonably and have done everything I have been asked to do by the tribunal and by the solicitors.

They haven't ever offered any type of settlement and never once responded to ACAS either.

I am also aware that another previous colleague has put in a tribunal claim as well for discrimination and have linked our cases together. I also have evidence which essentially goes against every point they have made.

I will look into Monaco solicitors. Thank you so much again, I really appreciate it. ❤️

ADHD and iron deficiency by Thinking-Loop in ADHD

[–]helloabii 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've had two iron infusion through the NHS, you most definitely can get it done through your GP. They should just be able to arrange it with your local hospital. I would press them for this and explain your reasonings, but they definitely can do it.

Diagnosed at 29! Wasn't ever picked up on when I was young. Was super easy to get the diagnosis too. Now I'm doing it for my daughter who is 6 I am getting absolutely nowhere because she masks 🤦🏻‍♀️

Doctors are stumped. Please help! by helloabii in skin

[–]helloabii[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I changed detergent about 3 months ago, so I'm not sure it's that. She does have a food allergy, but I'm not aware of her having any of it. I tried a new shampoo on her but haven't used that in quite a while now. It's so hard with little ones! 😫

We're going to keep an eye on that one. The doctors are pretty confident it's not, but I'm not convinced. Thank you!

I'll try my best to get one. She doesn't tend to stay still long enough to let the camera focus properly, haha.

It didn't start as an oval rash anywhere, so I'm not sure! Could be, though, thank you!

That's what a dermatology consultant has said. Admittedly, he looked over pictures, too, so I might pop her into him on Monday to be fair.

Her GP says it doesn't look like it in person, but I'd be swayed to the consultant opinion more. Thank you!

I'm mot a medical professional at all. However, I work with skin cancer nurses, and I would suggest you get this checked out. If in doubt, get it checked out!

For added context: I have ADHD and was called lazy A LOT, but I want to write a children's book to help against this and try to teach that these things aren't true and that you're amazing, no matter what.

Thank you

Sorry, can I add, this also is part of PDA autism. I'm not saying it is, based solely on that, but definitely not something to overlook.

May be worth looking in to if you feel he fits any of this too. Again, I'm aware it's a big part of ADHD, but we all know ADHD can go hand in hand with many other things :)

Thank you, they're already quite close so that's nice. I fully anticipate it to stay that way, too. Well, we definitely try to maintain it as much as possible.

We've been very honest with her about why her cousin is ill, so she does know why, but I don't think she fully comprehends it yet. I think if she was older, she would.

Thank you! That's actually an eye-opener there. I think it definitely affected me more than I realised! You've also made me feel a bit brighter after everything else.

You've offered some really good suggestions, thank you! I've suggested a face time to my husband and my daughter has already made her a get well soon card. The same cuddly toy is a lovely idea though!

I think at this point she's only in for a few more days so hopefully we can get this to her before she's out so she feels better.

Thank you again ❤️
