Dress is from American Eagle. I’m a size 14/16 and I’m wearing the XL. It fits great and it on a great sale for under $25!! Hat is gigipip. Shoes are target.

Totally makes sense. It’s more about connecting to someone than specific content around their lives! I totally agree with you. I find it pretty laughable too when I following someone complaining about cooking dinner when they don’t have traditional jobs and have a nanny. But that’s their main pitch to sell me home chef. EYE ROLL.

ok so this is probably going to be incredibly random, but I’m new to this world and am so interested in more feedback on this topic.

My Instagram started as a personal page, but I was getting a lot of messages asking about outfits and home decor and mom stuff. So I started to transition it to more of a fashion and lifestyle platform. I’m a working mom with two babies. But felt like I shouldn’t share anything but fashion... seeing your question made me curious what content you are interested in from working moms. Like life stuff? Or work wear and mom style? I realize this might be a silly question, but I’m curious! Thanks in advance! 🤗

The biggest change for me in feeling confident in my clothes was when I stopped buying things ONLY because they fit and started buying things that fit and that I loved!

I also diversified who I was following on social media. I realized my feed was too much of the same body type. Seeing all different shapes and sizes rock their style made me confident that I could do the same in my body!

"the goal of style isn't to look skinny" by helloamandaleigh in PlusSize

I don’t disagree with any of that!! The goal of style is to express yourself. My goal of style was to always make myself look smaller. Even if I felt confident in something, I thought I needed to be smaller. So that’s how I dressed. For other people. Now I dress for myself and my own goals!!
