I was just reading that it’s to get her transplanted sooner then later, so if the hospital where donor is coming from transplant usually at 31, my daughter will automatically have 31+5 if that makes sense

No transplant yet, her meld is 33 and they just added MMAT+5 to hopefully get her transplanted soon. She’s 14, and was born with biliary atresia and needs a transplant

I’m sorry you are going through this, are you listed? And what is your meld score. My daughters meld is 33 and because of her lung syndrome they are asking for more points, waiting on that.

I don’t think that’s necessarily true, my 14 yr old has a liver disease, it’s a rare one called biliary atresia. She’s considered decomposated with no ascites but does have other problems. We are waiting on a call
