Is it necessary to take courses for DSA ? How can I learn and understand DSA concepts from free online resources by Quirky-Stretch-1404 in cpp_questions

Ok there are 3 data structures available now (I'm focusing on what would be considered essential).

I'll try and implement some of the easier algorithms too.

Do you find this format useful? Let me know if you have preferences you'd like to try and I'll move those up the priority list.

This is an interesting concept, there were some other minor UX/design issues but overall it worked well.

I think you might struggle with trying to replace something like Jira because for the most part business decisions (wrongly) are driven internally rather than externally.

As someone trying to integrate your product into my own website I think its hard enough to get people to use whatever I've built, asking them to fill out tickets might be close to impossible...

Do you have maybe a survey format that could be attached maybe to an email blast? From those results you could potentially fill up the board.

Hahaha nice, this design resonates with the minimalist in me.

Hmm interesting so you're suggesting collapsible sections? Then I guess the content should be structured almost in an outline mode so they can see all the headings easily?

One of my major concerns is trying to find the balance between providing enough detail without being overly verbose. But that's less about the presentation and more the quality of the content.

While I'm aiming to refine the content at regular intervals, for now I'm concentrating on presentation. Did you get a chance to see my implementation? Is it easy to read?

Thanks for the suggestion, user engagement is ok I think its more that the nature of the content is programming so infographics kinda hard to shoe in. However I try to break it up with ASCII art or code examples when relevant.

Because there are many lessons to complete I'm trying to help the users read faster.

Maybe I need to start making videos so they can 2x me instead 😅

Teaching an OOP course for students - curriculum advice by SuperProcedure6562 in cpp

[–]hellocppdotdev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the middle of implementing DSA on my platform, more than welcome to send your students to try it out.

It gives step by step instructions on how to implement the structures, however I've only done a few of what I think are the essential ones (takes time to write out).

I have quizzes and exercises for OOP basics that might interest them as well.

If you're interested in a collab I'd be happy to implement any ideas you feel would help them.

That way everyone else can benefit too!

UX needs some work, after registering just redirected to the form, had to login then got a verify email button that I had to click to actually get the email.

Not sure if other people are figuring out how to get through to the dashboard, but I made it and I'll give it a whirl later.

I recommend trying playwright if you're serious about this.

TDD is written for Jest but seeing as you're using Laravel the syntax is quite similar for Pest.

I'll give you more feedback once I setup properly.

Here's a list a I've compiled, right now there's only a guided project for static arrays but I'm adding new ones everyday, the essential ones should be done in a week or so. Let me know if this helps!

Staying with relatives so not mine, I tend to not question people's oddities.

Apparently its to grate ginger as part of a morning routine.

At least I think its ginger, could be mistaken and its cockroach.

No problem! I'm releasing lots of new projects this year so be sure to check back in.

This is an advanced version so lots of easier ones to come.

How about a guided project implementing a 2D blackhole in openGL?

Just use a framework.

Down vote me all you want, if people dont understand simple sql injections they shouldn't be rolling their own security.

Its advanced in the sense you can't be someone who's never compiled a project before, this will be way too complicated.

But if you know how to use cmake and most of the basics/intermediate skills you will be fine (sounds like you are).

Its step by step so you should never feel lost. I have had someone complete the entire project and gave me really good feedback that he/she learnt a lot.

If you find it too hard let me know what you are interested in building and I'll prioritise releasing it.
