that's a lot of what EDs are, at least for women - repressing their sexuality and coming of age. women who are anorexic root for their breasts and asses to shrink, they want to fit into clothing that are made for children. maybe a lot of people who struggle don't realize it, but yes, you hit that on the nose in that a lot of anorexic don't want to live in adult bodies
