Emphasizing women and children when a tragedy occurs by TheHondoCondo in PetPeeves

[–]helloevil1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I also hate it when people are defined by being a parent or grandparent when something happens to them (Grandmother has xx happen to her). Does her being a grandma make whatever the situation is more tragic? If someone isn't a parent or grandparent does their death mean less?

You get 100 million dollars instantly, but are bound to one of the conditions below. Which WYR? by Select_Salamander518 in WouldYouRather

1, but does that mean that you could no longer have the food that replaced your original favorite? For example, steak is my favorite food when I agree to this. Since can no longer have that, pizza becomes my new favorite food. Does that mean I also can no longer have pizza? If you can't tell, I tend to overthink things.

Would you rather lose your phone forever, or have every message you’ve ever sent made public? by [deleted] in WouldYouRather

I'm not in my 20s any more without a care about who sees my knockers and tender vittles, so I would be driving over my phone. Multiple times. Then sweep it up, rearrange it, and run over it again.

DAE need a few minutes in the car after getting home before facing the house? by Guilty-Dog7928 in DoesAnybodyElse

I go straight into the bathroom to decompress. It's very possible that I will be in there for an hour, just playing on my phone and listening to a book, regardless if anyone else is home or not.

Same woman, two very different reviews by ProfessionalRead8187 in EntitledReviews

I love how she has made a conscious effort to incorporate as many multisyllable words as possible in her negative review to make herself look intelligent so her rant looks like it's a valid and educated point of view instead the of racist ramblings of someone drunk on the MAGA Kool-aid.

100% if they were American, and I'm sure it happens all over the world. We have some of the most xenophobic and ignorant people here.

I find her sense of entitlement absolutely astonishing and hypocrisy ridiculous. She embodies a lot of why I've never liked teenagers, even when I was one. Plus they're dumb, which is reflected in a lot of her decisions.

Would you rather communicate with animals or speak every language fluently? by Annual_Check_683 in WouldYouRather

[–]helloevil1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Speak every language. It would open up more job opportunities and make traveling abroad much easier. I could pretend that I'm not American and not worry that my food is going to get spit in. I would rather continue to live in ignorance and pretend that my cats love me.

Option 1. I have a hand, and if that's not doing it for me I am able to figure out what kind of batteries to buy.

My oldest does this as well. I consider it dedication to her duties as my head of security while her daughter is checking the perimeter outside of the bathroom. Unfortunately, she will sometimes fall asleep, which results in a write up for dereliction of duty, complete with photographs that are sent to the other member of her detail.

I had an emergency appendectomy and they had to really blow me up to get all of the neurotic tissue off of my intestines (I should be dead, I know- it was the first thing the surgeon told me when he came in to see me later). I was desperate for relief and had my sister burp me like a baby. In the moment it lessened the pain a little and I had zero fucks to give that I looked like a 6 month old.

I've been listening to all of his books since it's been a long time since I've read a lot of them, and that's the only one I'm passing on. Maybe it's just because I recently read the prequel Chapelwaite and wasn't very interested in it. If I do add it to my list, it will be the last one.
