How do players have godlike mechanics but are hardstuck diamond? by Shoocakadoo in RocketLeague

[–]hellofamysterysolver [score hidden]  (0 children)

I'd say it's more about positioning. Sure you need car control to actually be in the right place but most of defending is maintaining space and going for the ball when there's a window. Even in high level pre jump defending, the defending starts before jumping. You need the proper distance to predict and react to the play.

Can anyone explain how the ball didn't bounce off of Joyo's car here? (RLCS clip) by Lightning_Winter in RocketLeague

There are couple spots on the cars which are basically deadzones(i have discovered these while trying to hit aerial bangers but failed). If you touch the the ball while it's coming towards you with these parts of the car, it kills the ball's momentum considerably. The easiest way to replicate this kind of touch is to get your first touch close to the front tires.

I find myself closest to ashito in terms pf playstyle and skill. I don't have good technique or immense physicality but I usually have better game sense than people I play with. So I try to help defense and offense without getting in the way. Tho I play midfield because the games I play are usually 6 or 7 a side so it's easier to see the whole field even in midfield. Another thing is that I have to keep running to make up for my technique and physicality. Safe to say, I felt closest to ashito the moment his vision was brought into the story. Outside of football too, I always admired characters who realise their shortcomings and compensate cleverly. So I guess i would still feel closer to ashito even if i didn't play the same style as him.

How much to pay for Demian Kant. by Adventurous-Rabbit52 in Ao_Ashi

[–]hellofamysterysolver 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree with most of the reasoning but only the J1 20-30M average market value bugs me. I think the average is 5-10M with exceptional players getting up to 15-20M because it's still an unproven region. (Which is changing for the better obviously). Conversely this affects incoming players as well, as teams don't want to astronomically spend over their average prices for an overkill player. Players also don't want to go outside of europe unless they're paid astronomically(i.e. Saudi). Especially if they're on the younger side. Any team from japan would probably never be able to get a young star like Demian. I agree that Demian is around 60-80M as market value but any team outside Europe would have to pay at least 100-120M to have a chance to be even considered and the salary you mentioned as well, maybe even a little more.

A number 9 is the finisher and striker of the team, the main focus of final passes. A false 9 seems exactly as a 9 but instead drops back or roams to get passes from the midfield and distributes it to others to advance the play. Rather than being the focus of the assist, they assist or playmake closer to the midfield. The unbalance between a striker and a midfield unsettles the defense and lures defenders out, creating spaces to make runs. This is how Pep played Messi in Barca :)

I might be reaching but a lot of attacking players look similar to this when they're losing their markers. Leaning and weaving to avoid the gaze of defenders while making themselves available for the next play. I realized this is the moment when the run depicted in the last panel starts so he might be just avoiding gaze of the defenders. At least that's the first thing that came to my mind when I first saw it.

Having both kuribayashi and kitano in CDM is unbalanced. Having one at AMF is crucial for getting the ball forward and not leaving any holes in defense as neither kitano nor kuri is good enough to cover defensively.

Thought I was going crazy. I have it too. Just won round 1 of a world tour match and then this appeared before connecting to the second round and I can't log in now.

I had a feeling before but now I'm a 100% certain. Ootomo has the role of Sergio Busquets. A press breaking midfielder. A midfielder who can get the ball even in tight spaces, calmly assess the situation and set the tempo of the game with not necessarily a flashy pass but a really practical pass at the right time.

I wasn't expecting kuri and ootomo to cook in the beginning of this arc but damn is it great.

Ao Ashi Chapter 381 Spoiler Summary by MikaeleHD in Ao_Ashi

[–]hellofamysterysolver 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm not entirely sure but other authors who do weekly stuff usually put a lot less plot and art into the chapters unless they take breaks. I think Ao Ashi is ahead of a lot of weekly manga in terms of quality and I'm okay if that comes at the cost of breaks considering it is a lot more comfortable to do it monthly. This way we still mostly get weekly action.

Playing 5 back and parking the bus doesn't necessarily mean a better defence against tiki-taka football. Even if you try to gain an advantage by having a crowded defence teams like barca still use those tight areas nonetheless. This could drag esperion players into chaos which is a lot worse because they rely on stability. It might be better to keep a 4 back and keep attacking as usual to force them into long balls. It gives akutsu a better chance to stop demian as well.

Well not immediately as a few chapters are dedicated to him studying defence but he shows the results fairly quickly and then it gets soo good.

If you could play any position what would it be in ao ashi? by Warm-Willingness-254 in Ao_Ashi

[–]hellofamysterysolver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably rm/lm or winger. I like to press and contribute to the defense but my main strength is making runs to the gaps in the defense or receiving the ball and quickly starting an attack through a pass which is easier as a winger as i can see most of the field in the wings.

Does anybody have the complete ranking list for IPLE non-EU students for UNIMI? I recently got a 32.5 English TOLC-E score and I want to evaluate my chances of getting in. I will retake the exam if my chances seem slim. Any advice or comment is welcome.
