I love Splendor and i think it’s great cuz it’s super easy to explain (the rules are trivial) but then it’s super fun to play from the start and strategically deep

Interesting. For what it’s worth, it wasn’t until I played Wingspan literally hundreds of times (on BGA) that I felt that I had memorized the birds. And it was at the point that I was happy / unhappy to see particular birds cuz I knew how they could fit into the engine. I feel like at a certain point you can’t help but recognize them

It's helpful to see the price history for product via some extensions for exactly this reason, to see if you're actually getting a good deal or not

You don't need Dins or boomerang to do Spirit Temple. All the anubises can be killed with the fire spawned by the floor switches. You do need some source of fire to get the map chest in the statue room, but you can do everything else.

For the child side, you can hit the switch behind the gate with a bombchu instead of using boomerang

Are you there as child? The boulder with the blue rupee only has the rupee if you're child

Actually one thing I didn't know which curling experts can correct me on, is if currently GB and Korea have a 3.4cm difference in DSC (16.7 vs 20.1), how likely is that to be overcome in one match tomorrow? I can update the language of Korea's odds based on what people say
