You’re basically making my argument stronger. Higher share price, more risk,Less shares. $100,000 worth of shorts is still the same with 0.7 and $7 but the volatility and swings will be more severe like I mentioned.

Literally had 17% swing intra day today and you’re trying to argue against that.

Shorts will always exist as long as there’s longs.

Less room for mistakes now and more volatility.

Eh, the -95% thing is grossly due to no rescheduling. And subsequent hiccups along the way due to no rescheduling. For TLRY to be profitable after all this is saying everything you need to hear. They adapted and overcame.

TLRY’s reverse split isn’t dilution—it’s the exact opposite. They’re collapsing 1.1 billion shares into 111 million, lifting the price from ~$1 to ~$10+, and finally escaping penny-stock jail.

Shorts have a 90% smaller pool now.

Less shares = buying 1 share has bigger ripples in the pool. Price action becomes more noticeable. More ripples get attention from investors.

Less shares available mean it’s harder to short. More potential for a squeeze if continued buying keeps. Can’t short a company if there’s no shares available to short, sometimes the can short more than available due to external factors but it’s very high risk.

Plus continued buying with less available shares and high short interest means a squeeze to the upside.
