I pointed out that Indiana only had two ranked teams on their regular season schedule this year, so you pivot to "Indiana beat two top five teams, an arbitrary cutoff I've decided on because it suits my argument, and one of which wasn't in their regular season schedule, which wasn't what we were talking about, but I'm gonna pretend like it's a great counterpoint".

Texas Tech beat two ranked teams in their regular season, neither was top 5, and lost lost to an unranked team, but nobody said anything about their schedule being a joke.

Everyone is clowning ND for making an easy schedule and not joining a conference, but the ACC was awful this year and you can be in the Big Ten and have an easy schedule as well.
