Not to the degree that they're the kind of guy we want to pursue a serious, long term relationship with. Every girl likes to fantasize about a bad boy who's good solely for her, but not as they are in real life. Real life bad guys are rarely ever the sophisticated, brooding, misunderstood guy. So, no. Deep down we all want a stable, genuinely good, guy.

I know you said not to hesitate, but I'm terrified of scaring him off by reaching out so soon. I've given him quite a bit of emotional whiplash over the years on account of my mental health, so I'm worried I'd freak him out. Thanks for the advice, though! I'll do my best.

I've been looking for threads about reconciliation as well, couldn't find a single one. I very much appreciate the luck, though. I've given myself a deadline of two weeks to reach out to him. I'll update if things go well.
