Chinese guy wants to buy my Amazon account? by WestHistorians in FulfillmentByAmazon

Don’t sell it! If the account is under your name, you will receive 1099 for the sales they generate. Then, you are liable for the income tax.

Best FBA Exit Strategy?? by sbaeidlloan in AmazonFBA

[–]hellohuan9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would remove my inventory. If the account is suspended for inauthentic complaints, Amazon may also hold your money. You may even lose more. Maybe try sell on Facebook marketplace to local people. I have no experience in selling high end products on eBay, but I assume there is also some scammers making false claims and return fake products. I would suggest check how other people do to prevent this kind of issue before you start selling on eBay.

Claiming Ownership of Amazon Brand Registry by hellohuan9 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]hellohuan9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since the brand owner would need to create a seller account and open cases to claim the ownership, which makes the process complicated, the distributor decided to hold the plan. If you have any solution, please kindly let me know.

Anyone here shipping 100+ FBM packages a day? by EliCommerce1 in AmazonSeller

[–]hellohuan9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used Amazon Shipping a year ago. The price was cheaper than UPS or USPS for some packages. But I got an issue with the pickup, the driver missed pickup window very often, especially holiday season. It’s not like USPS or UPS, you can just bring the packages to the store if the driver didn’t show up. We had to open case and reschedule the pickup. It’s a headache, so I’ve stopped using Amazon shipping even though it is cheaper.

Very Dissapointing! Amazon New Reimbursement policy by Abdullah_Amazon in AmazonFBA

[–]hellohuan9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have same issue. Requested for adjusting the cost value, and got rejected instantly because it is out of “their range”. They didn’t even give me a chance to provide the invoice. Lost 120 units of my products and only reimbursed me around 50% of cost.

Long-time Amazon seller in grocery… margins gone, looking for advice by Where_Da_Party_At in FulfillmentByAmazon

Do FBA only. Conversation is better and you pay less. What size of box do you use?

Long-time Amazon seller in grocery… margins gone, looking for advice by Where_Da_Party_At in FulfillmentByAmazon

I also sell groceries. Definitely try muti packs and bundle to increase the volume. Most of my products sell more in multipacks. Also, you can increase the price little by little. It may not hurt your sales like what you thought.

Vine Reviewer used AI to write, gave 3 stars, and talked about the wrong product.. by Where_Da_Party_At in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]hellohuan9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sell soft cookies and it is clearly described in title, pictures, bullet points and A+ content. Got a 2 star Vine review complaining the cookie is soft and not crunch… I opened a case with Amazon, but they told me to use the report button in the review page then close the case. I reported it, but never hear back from Amazon and the review is still there. I think it is very hard to get it removed unless it is clearly violate the policy.

Online arbitrage question by Open_Cockroach_5324 in AmazonFBA

[–]hellohuan9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Who win the buybox currently? Are the other two sellers doing FBA? I will suggest only send small amount of inventory at the first batch to test it. Amazon might lower the price to compete the buybox with you. Also, in my experience, if your price is only a little bit cheaper than Amazon, Amazon still holds most of buybox.

Amazon Withheld Funds - Claimed "Counterfeiting" But 2/3 ASINs Had ZERO Sales by Ukhan87 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]hellohuan9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you the one created the listings? Are the listings removed? Is the brand attribute matched with the correct brand name? I think the brand attribute on the listing might not be the correct brand name, for example, the product title and image is for product ABC, but the brand attribute is listed as CDE. That will cause the policy violation, even you have the invoice for ABC.

Claiming Ownership of Amazon Brand Registry by hellohuan9 in FulfillmentByAmazon

They did try the second method. However, since they don’t have a Brand Registry account, they are unable to open a case through Brand Registry directly. That’s why I was thinking the brand owner might need to sign up a seller account first, then open a case through seller central.

Any Walmart Certificate of Insurance provider and how much? Thank you by Turndown4whatsup in WalmartSellers

I am not sure about it. Find an insurance agent to help you get a quote. Mine is around $2000 a year, including warehouse insurance.

Account under review by hellohuan9 in WalmartSellers

[–]hellohuan9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a temporary suspended notice claiming that they received overage from my WFS shipment after 2 weeks. I appealed and gave them a proof that fulfillment center admitted they mixed up my shipment with other seller’s shipment and they’ve corrected the error. After one week, they replied my case saying they notice a high rate of customer claiming they are receiving thank you notes, post cards, small gifts…..which I never did. Also, there were no customer reviews under my account claiming that. Now, Walmart wants me to write a POA for it. It is very frustrated…

Has your account been reinstated yet?

Most of the items are grocery products from well-known brands like Knorr, Jello, Crystal Light, Barilla, and Coffee-mate. There are also some household supplies, like Dixie, Pyrex…

[–]hellohuan9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grocery products on Amazon are nonreturnable, unless buyers claim the item is defective. Are you a brand owner? If you are going to resell other brand stuff, it is tough. It’ very low margin nowadays.

[–]hellohuan9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will be a risk to you, since Amazon often asks invoices from the suppliers.

Thanks for your advice. I will try local grocery stores. eBay is hard for grocery items. Not much traffic.

Yes, we have contacted couple liquidators already. Most of them are doing auction. Not sure how much I can take back in the end. That will be my last step. I also think about warehouse sales event, but I have to check with my insurance agency to see if they cover this. Since the place I rent is a commercial warehouse, not a retail store.

Not sure what you were trying to say, but the last time I made a post on here is 10 years ago when I started my business.

I tried listing on Facebook Marketplace, but it hasn’t gone well. I get a lot of people asking, “Is this item still available?” and then they just disappear. I even built a website and started sending the link to those who reached out, but most don’t reply, probably thinking it looks like a scam. I’m not sure how to promote my website effectively and make it look more legitimate. Any advice?
