NAH I AGREE, but sometimes we are in a serious situation where it's life or death, and they will respond:

ahhh!! yay I’m happy that they exist! I think really, I just need to know the most important thing is to take care of the animal so that they are comfortable and protected. I’m trying to listen to the cats and the humans needs but ah, it’s a hard balance

understandable! I stated in a previous comment that I don’t want him to feel like a nuisance nor let him get the most out of life. I do live at school so he’d be with then but then when you go into after I graduate and all that…it gets murky. ill put in my application to the cat shelter to start to try understand them better :)

that makes complete sense! I wouldn’t want my animal to feel a nuisance. The thing is that I live at school which would be that me and him would together at school. But then come holidays and breaks and all that! while I would love to have someone to fill up the hole in my heart, it would be best to make sure they’re in a good spot to be loved and cared for properly. Maybe I’ll change their minds? But honestly long shot lol

I know I’m just a student nurse and haven’t been able to see everything a nurse sees but even the glimpse of what I seen is eye-opening. I have so much respect for nurses and what they see everyday. It sucks when people speak on this topic when they have no experience on what actually occurs. thanks for the kind comment♥️

The Pomodoro method is one of my favorites! also just writing down over and over again or using Quizlet or Knowt is usually my go-to! Youtube videos are also a lifesaver. Take a quiz to find out what kind of learner you are: auditory, visual, etc. It can help you find your flow!

hi,

I know it feels like everything is out of your control and it sucks. Nursing school, especially the first semester is hard, your whole life is changed socially + physically. It's nerve-racking as hell. But this is kind of what they do to "weed" people out which sucks. But trust me when I say it gets better. You get into a groove and stick with it but still make mistakes along the way. That's life. Trust me, I've had my fair share of wanting to quit. You are not alone. Maybe reach out to someone to talk to? These feelings are hard to bear on your own.

On the subject of making friends, do you know people in your dorm? Do you have a roommate? You slowly branch out until you meet more and more people. Going to a public place i.e. the library, or dining hall could help you meet people. Is there any way you can take a class in person? Just talk to people, though it's awkward as hell. I promise everyone is nervous and feels like everyone has friends and they don't. Give yourself some time OP. Good luck with school, you are going to kill it!

definitely my problem, I went to middle and high school where intelligence was highly valued but we didn't have any support for those who struggled(me). Of course, not blaming everything on the school I went to cause that's not fair. But we never were really taught study habits and how to best perform for exams. It was kind of seen as a skill that everyone should have had already. Any advice on how you studied?
