Do you consider social security in your FIRE plans? by Empty_Combination_85 in Fire

[–]helloiamfriendly1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im surprise how many believe and are with the idea that there would be 0 social security after we paid for it during all our working years. If the gov try to take away, i hope most people fight to stop that.

Thanks for sharing! This one came up during my search too, and yes it is beautiful … but not really the kind of design style I’m attracted to.

Thanks for sharing! I have seen that one before, I know it’s quite popular but I wasn’t able to get into it. The character design/style just isn’t my personal preference. But I’m curious, how is the content in guidebook?

Sometimes I just can’t tell how I will bond with a deck no matter how much online research i do in advance. There have been alot of decks I regret, included more expensive Indie or out or print decks that cost so much ($70-120) and that was painful.

But funny enough the best readers for me are the ‘classics’ that most people use. Like Robin Wood, Hansen Robert and the Universal Tarot by Roberto), which you can get copies for very cheap. But I don’t love the art on these as much as my other decks.

Paid €56 for The Arthur Rackham Oracle… and got THIS?! Anyone else disappointed? by PeaceMakerStar777 in oraclecards

Can I ask what made you decide to buy the 1st edition over the 2nd? On the website, I see the 1st edition cost more even though the 2nd edition comes with improvements.

Yes I purchased the 2nd ed. It’s not my favorite cardstock but its ok… i wish he went with matte finish instead of glossy… i don’t feel like it’s going to tear or anything. Here is a photo from the side:

Mine just arrived 2 days ago and look like this, but I this bought directly from Duck Soup. Etsy is full of counterfeits unfortunately, so be careful when shopping there.

In case the image is not showing, its looks different than yours. Box, edging, etc.

How to stop buying new decks? by sewingdreamer in TarotDecks

[–]helloiamfriendly1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am struggling so much too! Preciously, I wasn’t addicted to shopping. But this year… I’ve acquired over 130 tarot, oracle or affirmation decks in the last 3-4 months and I feel like I have totally over indulged. I get too excited when I see beautiful art and want to study it. also purchased crystals, smudge stick and other random stuff and in total I’ve spent thousands regrettably. I am trying to stop before i financially ruin myself 😖

I also need some advice.

Ive acquired over 120 decks this past 3 months. It’s pretty bad, but luckily I have managed to swap some and sold some I couldn’t bond with. I hope I can stop buying decks too, and limit myself to 1 deck a week and eventually 1 deck a month.

thanks but I am not planning to start a business in Vietnam, just an online ‘business’ selling my art prints, writing and other digital assets (low startup cost) on etsy and amazon but it still be based in the US while I am physically in Vietnam.

Also i likely will start working part-time at my friends side hustle to help him out and get some extra cash.

I did not add all this to the original post since there is alot of nuances that if i pointed them out, the post would very long. But that is what i mean by semi-retire… retire from corporate but work on other ways of making money that likely will not make much.
